Introduction: Carrier Global Corporation is an American multinational leader in the production and distribution of heating, air conditioning (HVAC) systems, refrigeration, ventilation, and food service equipment, and fire and security technologies. Its subsites, such as Sensitech.com, cater to specific markets, while carrier.com is a central hub for the company’s global products and services.

Responsibility: Our team supports Carrier.com’s subsites and parent websites. We are a support team that helps with any customization required on the site, such as CSS, JS, and code changes, as well as content changes for the CMS. We receive tasks through ServiceNow and update the same in the system. At the end of each week, we create a WSR (Weekly Status Report) that outlines the number of tickets resolved by our team and the readiness of the resolved tasks to go live.

Challenges: We had many difficulties when providing support, one of which was the requirement for customization. Carrier.com serves a global clientele, so ensuring the website was localized for areas was essential. The website also needed regular upgrades to its operation and content, which demanded a speedy response.
